How it all started

Why I Started Jewels by Giuls

Jewels by Giuls was born from a deep love of meaningful jewelry  the kind you don’t just wear, but live in. I’ve always been drawn to pieces that tell a story, that feel personal, and that become part of your identity. What started as a passion project making simple rings and chains for friends turned into a full brand rooted in purpose, beauty, and ethical values. I wanted to create jewelry that looked good, felt good, and did good from design to production.

Where Our Gold & Diamonds Come From

Our materials are the foundation of everything we create. We use only Fairtrade-certified gold and ethically sourced diamonds that meet the highest standards of environmental and labor responsibility. Our gold comes from certified mines in Peru and Colombia, where artisanal miners are paid fair wages and work under safe, regulated conditions. Our diamonds are sourced conflict-free from trusted partners in Botswana and Canada, with full traceability from mine to stone..

We Visit Our Gold Sources in Person

We believe in full transparency not just on paper, but on the ground. That’s why we travel to the communities where our gold is mined, building relationships and seeing the work first-hand. Visiting the mines allows us to ensure safe labor practices, fair wages, and respectful treatment of workers. It also gives us the opportunity to support local initiatives and understand how our business can make a real, positive impact. Ethical sourcing isn’t a marketing phrase for us  it’s a commitment, and a responsibility.
